The fourth busiest airport in India provides sufficient airport facilities. The airport lies within the city limits and is a well maintained major hub for the southern part of India. The airport handles around 45 flights every day to all major regions of India, while Air India and Indian Airlines operates international flights.
A wide variety of restaurants serving international cuisine are available at Bangalore Airport, while there is also a wide selection of retail shops scattered throughout the two terminals of Bangalore International Airport including Desert Books, Talking Hands, PGA Tour Shop, Sunglass Hut and Newswatch. An Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) is situated directly across from the airport's main entrance.

The arrival of flights information desk is to be found in Terminal II. The counter of the KSTDC (Tel: +91 80 5220501) is also to be found in Terminal II. Not only do they provide reliable taxi services, their friendly staff will also give you information about the city or other travel-related topics. The KSTDC counter is manned 24 hours a day.
Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
You will find a variety of retail outlets spread throughout the two terminals. The PGA Tour Shop, Sunglass Hut, Newswatch and Talking Hands are some of the shops available. Food and drinks are available in the restaurant, snack bar or from the coffee and tea vending machines. There is no duty-free shopping at the airport.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
At Terminal I Departures Lounge, on the ground floor, there is a restaurant and snack bar. The restaurants serves Indian and international foods. Coffee and tea vending machines can be found throughout the terminal buildings. A beer pub is located in the Domestic Departures Terminal.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
In the International Departures and Arrivals Hall there is a foreign currency exchange service. The Vijaya Bank is located in the Domestic Arrivals Terminal. The airport's single ATM machine can be found across from the main entrance of the airport. Postal services are located in Terminal I Departures Lounge on the ground floor.
Business and Conference Facilities
Bangalore International Airport (BLR) does not provide sufficient business facilities. However, many nearby hotels provide excellent business facilities. Le-Meridien, Hotel Ashok and Windsor Manor are some of the establishments providing business services that are located near to the airport. These hotels have business centres as well as banqueting and meeting rooms.
Disabled Facilities
Wheelchairs are available on request and assistance for physically challenged or elderly passengers is provided.
